Randel R. "Randy" Torp, age 57, a Brillion resident, died peacefully in his home with his family at his side, on Friday, July 20, 2012, after ending his battle with cancer.

Randy was born on March 18, 1955, in Sturgeon Bay, son of Darlene (Kugler) Torp and the late Robert Torp. He was a 1973 graduate of Reedsville High School. Randy served his country as a member of the U.S. Army from 1976 to 1979. He had a great love of the outdoors, many artistic and mechanical talents, and truly practiced the art of LIVING SIMPLY.

Survivors include his mother: Darlene Torp, Reedsville; one brother and sister-in-law: Don (Mary Jane) Torp, Reedsville; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary Jo (Jim) Van Domelen, Reedville; Michelle (Geoff) Grainger, Belgium. Nieces, nephews, and his other "family" at the Billy Club in Brillion also survive. He was preceded in death by his father: Bob Torp; his grandparents: Jess (Vi) Torp and Fred (Pearl) Kugler.

A memorial celebration of Randy's life will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2012, at the Menchalville Fire Station from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville is serving the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com
