Sandra L. Markvart
Sandra L. Markvart, age 67, of 2407 45th Street, Two Rivers, died Tuesday morning, June 5, 2012, at the River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc.
Sandra was born on September 17, 1944, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Alonzo and Lillian (Mushel) Martin. She attended local schools. On August 31, 1963, Sandra was married to Thomas J. Markvart at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manitowoc. She worked as a secretary at the Kewaunee Nuclear Plant. She was a member of Grace Congregational United Church of Christ in Two Rivers. Sandra enjoyed traveling, camping, reading, cooking and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband: Thomas Markvart, Two Rivers; two daughters: Lisa Hollen (Jeff) Manitowoc; Rebecca Markvart, Manitowoc and her special friend Michael Ollendorf; two grandchildren: Zachary and Ashley Hollen, Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law: Dale (Trudy) Martin, Greendale; a special sister-in-law: Bev Markvart, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Alonzo and Lillian Martin.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Grace Congregational United Church of Christ, 2801 Garfield Street, Two Rivers. Rev. Kim Henning will officiate with burial to follow at the Knollwood Memorial Gardens, 1500 Hwy 310, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc on Wednesday (TONIGHT) from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com
